From Rejected to Accepted

The Extraordinary Journey of a Monk

(From his upcoming biography titled “Patri das”)

In a small town called Kharkiv in Ukraine, a young commando officer made a decision that would change the course of his life forever. He chose to follow a spiritual path, a calling that was met with rejection and criticism from his family, relatives, neighbors, and friends. They considered him mad and crazy, unable to comprehend his pursuit of something beyond the ordinary.

But little did they know that this man’s journey would take him on an extraordinary path, filled with trials, tribulations, and ultimately triumph. Today, as the sun rises on the Nepali New Year, the Government of Nepal is hosting an event at the President’s office to honor those who have made significant contributions to the people of Nepal. And among the distinguished guests is a monk, whose late arrival adds a dramatic twist to the proceedings.

As he steps out of the car, wearing wooden sandals and a saffron robe with a shaven head, the crowd’s attention is immediately drawn to him. VIPs who have been waiting since the early hours for their turn to receive an award find themselves in awe of this monk, who has arrived just moments before his name is called to receive the prestigious presidential honor. The once-rejected man is now being acknowledged on an international stage, leaving everyone questioning their previous judgments.
