Gurudas Das

Patri das share a strong and loving bond with Gurudas Prabhu was one of the very first pioneering disciples of Srila Prabhupada.

He was one of the devotees who was already developing the San Francisco Temple when Prabhupada arrived there in 1967.  He was one of the six devotees who first went to England, met the Beatles establishing Krishna Consciousness in London. Gurudas was one of the first devotees joining Prabhupada in India, intially overseeing the building of the Krishna Balaram temple in Vrndavan.

Many of the iconic photos of Srila Prabhupada were taken by him in the early days.
